They had been long time friends until the fateful seance that buried any hope of being friends after. Houdini publicly exposed Arthur’s Wife (second wife to be exact), after Arthur had gone back overseas to his home in England.
The Ghost story that followed had been confided to me by Nathaniel Free. This was based on an experience of his that he told me one night sitting around a fire.
